We have several books from this series and we love them all. Every holiday now my 6 year old asks if we can read a "night before" book because he loves them so much. They are very cute stories that go along with the "Night Before Christmas" theme but the words are adapted to fit the theme of the book. I highly recommend these for kids of all ages.
I bought this to teach my son about holidays we don't celebrate, since we enjoy the other books written by this author. This did not serve our purposes as it talked about God too much. Christmas and Easter are also religious holidays and those books in this series did not discuss God. I passed it along to friends who are Jewish, and I will look elsewhere.
This is a wonderful book. Truly love the diversity and knowledge it brings.Another splendid adventure.All the children love it!

This book ic wonderful, having a channukah party bought it as a favor for all small kids after reading it to my daughter
I liked it because it told me the story of the Maccabees. What I didn't like about it was it wasn't an very good story. There wasn't a main character, even though the kids were characters it didn't feel like they were important. Thanks. Asher (age 6).
So cute! I was struggling to find cute things for my son's first Hanukkah and this book is adorable. Touches on all sorts of Hanukkah traditions and stories, while easy to read with cute pictures. He loves looking at it!
