This was number 2 in the Wolfblade series. Once again Mr Frazetta does an excellent job. I don't read books to be a critic. After all, a critic is nothing but man who is jealous that he is incapable of doing the same thing, yet, somehow thinks he can talk about it. Having said that, I read books to be entertained and the Wolfblade series is definitely entertaining. The floating island concept is pretty cool but I liked the white tear, black tear concept also. Sure hope Rothan finds a way to hook up with his 2 girls again and find a way back to black tear. The adult stuff is erotic but certainly not overwhelmingly a part of the novel. I like the characters and I'm worried someone's gonna die. Sure hope not. I eagerly await the 3rd, 4th etc
The plot was not as engaging as the first book. The MC is literally given several OP magic items this time around. And once again, there is little to no consistency between the major battles.At one point, the MC had most of his bones broken and was glad because the pain overwhelmed him. Then he immediately got up and charged his attacker... with his broken bones.After every conflict, even if he claims to be grievously wounded, he just walks off and the tale continues as if he were completely fine and ready for the next encounter.Oddly, the setup for book 3 sounds more interesting (and more in line with book 1).
I really like this series because it’s action,babes and more action.Cant wait for book three to come out.Keep up the good writing
The story continues to improve, with each new book. The first was good, the second better, I cannot wait for the next!Book two takes the story to another world and back again. Read it if you have not!
If you enjoyed the first book you will like this one too. The author has a great imagination; he sucked me in and never let me put down the book. Thanks! I can't wait for book three.
It’s sword and sorcery, it checks all the boxes and it’s awesome for it. Dude just travels around crushing his enemy’s, seeing them driven before him and hearing the lamentation of ....enemies.
The action and character building, there is nothing to dislike this is a good read. There is a great plot, plenty of magic and lore.
I really enjoyed this story and its characters, and recommend it to everyone who likes adventure and monsters and times of old.
